Model Background
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M is one of the most versatile platforms in the Omega catalog — dressy enough for a boardroom, rugged enough for 150 meters underwater. This particular reference stands out from the crowd. Introduced in 2016 and now discontinued, the 231.10.42.21.03.006 ditched the horizontal teak-pattern dial that defined most Aqua Terras of the era in favor of a wave-motif blue dial that drew direct inspiration from the 2016 Rio Olympics Seamaster 300M. The result is a dial with more visual depth and movement than its teak-pattern siblings. Under the hood sits the Caliber 8500 — Omega's first fully in-house Co-Axial movement, featuring twin barrels for a 60-hour power reserve, a free-sprung balance with a Si14 silicon hairspring, and anti-magnetic resistance to 15,000 gauss. At 41.5mm with a screw-down crown and COSC chronometer certification, it's a serious piece of watchmaking packaged in an everyday-wearable case.
