Model Background
The Aqua Terra Shades collection represents Omega's most fashion-forward take on one of its strongest platforms. Introduced in 2022, the Shades line stripped the traditional horizontal teak-pattern dial in favor of smooth, sun-brushed brass dials finished in nature-inspired gradient colors — a deliberate move to give the Aqua Terra a dressier, more modern identity. This 34mm reference in lagoon green is one of the most striking in the range. The dial shifts between teal, jade, and emerald depending on the light, and Omega dressed it up with diamond-polished 18K white gold hands, hour markers, and logo — a level of finishing detail that quietly elevates the piece above its price point. Underneath sits the Caliber 8800, METAS Master Chronometer certified and anti-magnetic to 15,000 gauss, which means the movement meets a standard more stringent than COSC alone. At 34mm it wears clean and versatile — equally at home on a suit or on bare wrist at the beach with 150 meters of water resistance backing it up.
