Model Background
The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon is one of the most sought-after independent watchmaking releases in recent memory — and it's gone. Moser announced in April 2023 that the Smoked Salmon would be produced for one year only, making it one of the rare cases where a major independent house puts a firm expiration date on a reference. Once that window closed, the 6200-1207 left the collection permanently. What makes it even more compelling is the watch itself: a 40mm cushion-case integrated bracelet design powered by Moser's fully in-house HMC 200 caliber, fitted with their proprietary Straumann hairspring and finished with the signature Moser double stripes. The smoked salmon fumé dial — executed with a vertical griffé texture — shifts between warm pink, copper, and amber depending on the light, and it's the kind of finishing you simply can't find outside of a handful of houses working at this level. If you're looking for one, this is your window — they aren't making more.
