The Overseas is Vacheron Constantin's answer to the luxury sport watch — and it makes its case quietly, the way a 270-year-old manufacture should. In full 18K 5N pink gold, this reference carries a warmth and weight that sets it apart from the stainless steel versions entirely. The silver sunburst dial plays off the rose gold hands and markers beautifully, and the Maltese cross motif in the bezel ties the whole design back to the house's history without making a show of it. At 41mm and just 11mm thick, it wears flatter and more comfortably than you'd expect from a gold sport watch, and at 150 meters of water resistance it's not just for show. The in-house Caliber 5100 underneath carries the Geneva Hallmark — the Poinçon de Genève — which certifies both the movement's finishing and its functional quality.
