How an outright sale works.

Kingdom buys pieces outright, in full sets only: the watch with its box, its papers and its warranty card. Every piece is inspected and quality-checked here before a number is given, and a piece that does not meet the standard is declined rather than bought.

Outright is one of three ways to move a piece. Consignment runs a published 60-day term with Kingdom holding the watch; trade is taken case by case.

Valuation

How the number is reached.

You tell us what you have, what came with it and its service history. The piece is then inspected and quality-checked in hand, and a projected sale value comes back with the reasoning behind it, so you can see what is carrying the figure and what is holding it down.

Set contents move the number more than anything else. Incomplete sets are declined, and a piece that will not present as retail-ready is declined rather than priced to hide it.

The Form

Send it in.

Your name, a way to reach you and the watch. That is enough to start, and the rest is optional. Matthew reads it and comes back with a projected value, or with the questions that get there. Photographs are asked for in the reply, once we know what we are looking at.

Brand and model is enough.

Before You Send

Set contents move the number more than anything else. A watch with its box, its papers and its warranty card is a different piece from the same watch without them.

Say what is wrong with it. A mark you mention is a detail. A mark we find at inspection is a renegotiation, and neither of us wants that conversation.

Nothing is committed on either side until the piece has been inspected in hand.
