Model Background
The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M is one of the most iconic dive watches ever made — a lineage that stretches back to 1993 and gained worldwide recognition on the wrist of James Bond beginning with GoldenEye in 1995. The current generation, introduced in 2018, represented the most significant overhaul the collection had seen in over two decades: a fully ceramic dial with laser-engraved wave pattern, a ceramic bezel with a diving scale rendered in either enamel or precious metal, a conical helium escape valve, and a Master Chronometer-certified movement. This two-tone reference pairs a stainless steel case with 18K yellow gold accents — the bezel diving scale, crown, hands, hour markers, and helium escape valve pushbutton are all executed in warm yellow gold against the rich blue ceramic dial and blue ceramic bezel. The effect is classic nautical luxury without tipping into excess, and the blue rubber strap keeps it sporty and wearable in a way that the two-tone bracelet version can't quite match for casual everyday use. The Caliber 8800 inside is METAS Master Chronometer certified and anti-magnetic to 15,000 gauss, with a 55-hour power reserve and 300 meters of water resistance — serious dive credentials behind the dress-diver aesthetic.
