The PanoMaticInverse is one of Glashütte Original's most distinctive creations and a showcase of traditional German watchmaking. Rather than hiding the movement behind a dial, the manufacture inverts it — the three-quarter plate becomes the dial itself, finished with Glashütte ribbing and framing an exposed balance beating beneath a hand-engraved balance bridge with the brand's signature duplex swan-neck fine adjustment. The off-center hour and minute display, small seconds, and oversized Panorama Date sit on galvanized silver subdials, giving the watch its unmistakable asymmetric face. It's a piece that reads as haute horlogerie from across the room and rewards a closer look with some of the finest hand-finishing in its class.
