The Beijing 2022 Aqua Terra takes everything proven about the current-generation AT 150M and wraps it in a dial you won't find anywhere else in the lineup. Where standard Aqua Terras run with teak-patterned or sunburst dials, this one carries a white ceramic face with a laser-engraved frost pattern — a texture meant to evoke cracked winter ice — that gives the watch a cold, luminous depth no photograph fully captures. The blued hands and diamond-brushed blued indexes break from the typical blackened or rhodium-toned furniture of the regular catalog, and the minute track adds flashes of Olympic red against a blue ring, making this one of the few ATs with genuine color tension on the dial.
Mechanically, it's the same Cal. 8900 Master Chronometer platform that anchors the mainline 41mm Aqua Terra — full METAS certification, 15,000-gauss magnetic resistance, 60-hour reserve — so nothing is sacrificed for the special-edition trim. The solid caseback stamped with the Beijing 2022 emblem is a departure from the exhibition back on standard ATs, which will either bother you or not, but it does make this the only modern AT 41mm where Omega chose to close the back. Production was tied to the Olympic window and has since ended; it was a non-limited run, but the window was short and supply has dried up accordingly.
