IWC Pilots Watch Chronograph Original Box and Papers!

The IW377701 runs on IWC's Caliber 79320 — a workhorse automatic chronograph built on the legendary Valjoux 7750 architecture, modified to IWC's own specifications. It delivers a 44-hour power reserve, a 12-hour totalizer alongside the 30-minute counter, and day-date functionality parked cleanly at 3 o'clock. It's not trying to be complicated. It's trying to be reliable. And the 7750 platform has been proving that point for decades.

What sets this apart from the rest of the Pilot's Watch lineup — and frankly, from most chronographs in this price range — is how committed it is to the original instrument watch philosophy. The soft-iron inner case creates a Faraday cage around the movement, shielding it from magnetic fields that would quietly sabotage a lesser watch. The convex sapphire crystal is anti-reflective on both sides and engineered to resist displacement from sudden air pressure drops — a nod to the cockpit heritage IWC has been refining since 1936. At 43mm with a lug-to-lug of 53.5mm, it wears with serious wrist presence, but the black alligator strap drops straight from the lugs and keeps it from overwhelming. The matte black dial with oversized white Arabic numerals and luminous hands isn't decorative — it's designed to be read at a glance in any condition.

This is a chronograph that was drawn with a straightedge, not a marketing brief.
