About This Reference
The 310.30.42.50.01.004 debuted in 2026 as the newest addition to the Moonwatch Professional lineup, introducing an inverted dial configuration that sets it apart from every Speedmaster before it. The double-plate step dial presents a black varnished and lacquered upper surface with white varnished subdials framed by rhodium-plated rings — a reverse-contrast layout that gives the iconic Moonwatch silhouette a fresh visual identity while retaining the fourth-generation Speedmaster design DNA worn on the moon. Sapphire crystal on both the front and caseback distinguishes this from the hesalite references, with anti-reflective treatment on the inner surface for clarity and a view straight through to the hand-wound calibre 3861. Applied rhodium-plated hour markers, the Omega logo, and Moonwatch-style hands filled with white Super-LumiNova maintain the legibility standard the Speedmaster was selected for in 1965. The black ceramic bezel with white enamel tachymeter scale — including the signature dot over 90 — completes the package.
