Within the Aqua Terra 150M family, this is one of the small-seconds references — a quieter, more classical layout than the far more common central-seconds time-and-date Aqua Terra. Rather than a sweeping central seconds hand, it carries a dedicated opaline small-seconds subdial at 6 o'clock, with its own rhodium-plated ring and a neat date window, giving the face a more traditional, dressed-up symmetry that distinguishes it from the bulk of the line. Driving that layout is the small-seconds calibre 8916 in place of the standard 8900.
The colorway is the other thing that sets it apart: a sun-brushed blue-grey "teak" dial — Omega's nod to the planked teak decks of luxury sailing yachts — that reads as a cool, summery light blue and shifts with the light, finished with rhodium-plated hands and indexes in white Super-LumiNova. Paired with the matching structured blue rubber strap and its grey stitching, it's the sportiest, most summer-ready expression of the steel Small Seconds range: more casual and lighter on the wrist than the steel-bracelet versions, and far more understated than the Sedna™ gold and two-tone editions — while sharing the identical Master Chronometer movement and 150 m credentials.
