The Sang Bleu collaboration is one of the most visually distinctive things Hublot has ever done, and the All Black version is where the design hits hardest. Maxime Plescia-Büchi — tattoo artist, typographer, and founder of Sang Bleu — brought the same geometric language he uses on skin to every surface of this watch. Hexagons, diamonds, and triangles layer across the bezel, case, dial, and even the strap in full three-dimensional relief, and in the All Black treatment every element is rendered in a single monochromatic palette that makes the geometry the entire point. The black ceramic case is satin-finished and polished across its 45mm frame, and at 16.50mm thick it has real wrist presence — this is not a subtle watch and it's not trying to be. The skeleton dial exposes the HUB1240.MXM UNICO movement underneath, a manufacture flyback chronograph with column wheel, 72-hour power reserve, and 330 components visible through both the dial side and the sapphire exhibition caseback. The multifaceted sapphire crystal on the front adds another geometric layer to the design, catching light in angular planes that echo the case architecture. Limited to 200 pieces worldwide, the Sang Bleu II All Black sits at the intersection of haute horlogerie and contemporary art — and with ceramic construction throughout, it's built to wear as aggressively as it looks.
